James recommends

Hastings songwriter and fingerstyle guitarist Jason McNiff launches his tenth album, Ten Blue Songs, at Green Note in Camden. Sam Grassie, a young guitarist steeped in the British folk-baroque tradition, opens. Doors 7pm, music from 8.30pm.

Why We Love This: A tenth-album launch in Green Note's tiny back room, where every guitar figure carries. Get there for Sam Grassie too: the fingerpicking alone is worth the early start.
